Arrested Development fans have another bit of evidence to believe that there maybe a movie coming after all. MTV News is reporting that writer Dean Lorey has blogged that he and his fellow writers are currently working on scripts for the project.
Last year, Netflix agreed finance the project which will consist of 10 episodes culminating in a film. It is scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
Arrested Development started out a dark comedy on FX that was based around the erratic Bluth family, featuring Jason Bateman, pre-puberty Michael Cera, Will Arnet and David Cross. It quickly gained a large and loyal following. Inexplicably, the show was canceled in the third season and outraged fans tried their best to get their show back.
After years of speculation and lots of false leads, fans got what they asked for when Netflix and the cast announced that there would be one more set of episodes and a film to give fans some closure.
